Thousands of pieces of what appeared to be office paper came drifting over Brooklyn, about three miles from the tower, one witness said.

The center bombing on Feb. 26, 1993, killing six people and injured more than 1,000 others.

ok so the UK government has just activated COBRA which i've heard is some kind of terroist situation plan.

i think somehting like this has got to respond with some kind of of international cooperation and i'm hoping that even though this thing is really fucked up that people wont stand for shit like this to ever happen again and that mabye some good will come about from this. unfortunate as it sounds its things like this that usually force politicians to get rid of the red tape and actually do something.

to use more than one plane let alone one would have to take some serious organisation. i doubt that this has been done by just a small terrorist group although it's not impossible. but if the government did know anything i'd hate to think what they were thinking. i mean what would you be able to do about a plane with some 190 people over a populated area.
