As for girls and l33tness: i was at dinner with some friends the other night. We're talking about ADSL and SDSL while using lots of other acronyms. My friend's girlfriend says "What about LMNOP?" That pretty much ended the conversation.

I don't talk about computers at school unless people ask me questions, but usually I lie to them and tell them that they should reformat. As for breasts, well that seems to be the only thing I actually talk about at school, whether I'm asked or not.

Personally, I've got my girlfriend pretty well trained. Surfing the net on my linux box listening to MP3's using my cable modem. Not bad. She laughs at her family in BFE with their slow dial up connection.

I will say one thing for progress, though, NAPSTER. That's right kiddies, chicks use Napster. Even the dumb ones too. Their skillset is turning on AOL, checking email, and pirating music.

One thing that really pissed me off the other day was when this one chick IM'd me saying why had i been online for 2 weeks? I'm like I have a permanent INET connection (ADSL) and never turn off my computer. She said (oh, it makes you look nerdy). WTF?

I found this one hot as hell chick but she's taken... she told me tho she likes a guy that's smart and once said something like 'you can make a lot of money once you start fiddiling around on the computer'. Erg, I already knew that (I sorta do make a lot of money, ego trip here, hang on, until the plane crashes into the runway...) but she still has yet to learn anything about my computing habbits. I think I'll have her over, and let her draw her own conclusion.

She's been having more and more fights with her bf of 2 years, I think it's all going to come to a crashing end soon......
