This question spawned out of another thread.  So how far would you go?  Have you ever done anything that you are ashamed of?  Did it really help you get ahead?  Would you tell us about it?

I had an interviewer insinuate very carefully that if I slept with him I'd have a $70K/year salary, car, moving expenses, guaranteed bonus quarterly, and 'be well taken care of' by the company.

I was 22 and just about to graduate from college, had not a cent to my name, was quitting my job, had to move, and was $20K in debt for student loans.

I told him that an issue of Hustler and some hand lotion would be cheaper.

I'm NOBODYS pissboy sellout.

To me, the best way to get a raise is to change jobs.

Changing jobs has given me, on average, a 20k a year raise starting when I got out of Military in 1997.

Now I've reached a point where I don't care if I ever get another raise as long as I live.

I'll probably stick with EDS till the bitter end.
