Hearme sucks, it only takes one person to hold the button while playing music permanently to stop anyone have a conversation, if you want a decent audio chat program, consider Iparty, its been around a long while, and its still IMHO the best one around. Its buffer based, so no matter what you always get your say, has a text area for when you cant talk or whatever, has a few addons (Iparty Extender, IPE-TV) that add ignore functions and so on, the only drawback is that you can only kick or ban people from the room if the person hosting the server is there, and has a decent firewall. It may take a bit more setting up than most audio chat programs, but its still by far the best. http://www.iparty.f2s.com One thing that could be a downside, not available at all for Linux/Unix, windows 9x/NT only I'm afraid. ------------------ When darkness calls and the pain and suffering begin again, you can guarantee that I shall be the instigator. - Kevin "Kayy" Beadle, The Proprietor and Innovator of Kayyos-Vx WebDesigns. If you know how to setup HearMe, you can limit talk time. And I've never used IRC... Seems pretty lame to me. ------------------ jim Brews and Cues
