And I hope they don't fuck up the story too much in the movies, movies based on stories are generally much worse than the origional story.

Hellraiser is right... Tolkien and Adams are the top two.. Susan Cooper is up there too. Anyone who has read her books I'm sure will agree.

Ever read "Dirk Gentlies holistisk detective agency"
(I'm sure I mananged to screw up the title)

"When I am driving somewere, I pick a car that looks like it know where it's going and I follow it, I never end where I was going, but I always end up where I am needed."
(I problay screwed that up to, but the general point is still there.)

HHGTTG is one of the most quotable books out there. It's funny as fuck ... that said my copy's a big five-in-one behemoth. Has anyone got that link to the HTML version?

Does anyone else remember the TV series? That was quite good as well.

It's also the only book I've hit anyone full in the face with, but that's another story.

Yeah ... so that HTML link anyone? *beg*
