If I want to read more than a paragraph I buy a magazine or a book.
One of my bugbears are people that ramble online on forums. Better off making their own website with a poetry page. For one, it seems like such a waste of effort. I mean - 2 days and the thread isusually consigned to elctric oblivion.

Poetry isn't rambling, it's the most specific writing style.
If you don't 'like' it don't ask for it.
