kuru - it's because you have double sided standards. It's fine for you to flirt and talk about your boobs, but then a new girl comes aorund and one guy says one thing as a joke, and you jump on their case talking about how they're being sexist or whatever. I don't care if you talk about your boobs, you know I've never said anything about it. It's just lately you keep jumping on people for being who they are: a guy. 90% of the time I see wiley (or anyone else, he's just an example right now) say something to a girl and you get on his case saying "so it's fine for you to do stuff but I can't blah blah". When all you do is bitch about stuff, then no it's not fine for you to.
I've been quiet when you do this all the time, but you're going overboard with it. When you talk about how big your boobs are and whatnot, and then you turn around and shoot down someone for just jokingly asking "asl?" to the new girl it makes you look pretty bad. That's why people respond with "you're a slut!" or whatever. I've never even seen that, but I don't read a lot of the stuff here, enspecially when I see it turning to how it is with you so much.
You're a smart girl, and I have NOTHING but respect for you. I'm not gonna deny if you're hot or not, considering the only pic I saw of you was that netcam you had a while ago that was pretty dithered down. It just gets me mad when you start jumping on people for nothing. Come on now, you can handle your self better then that. You sexy little thing, you

And I've also said that part of the reason I'm so hard on others is that I'm going to show by example (treating them exactly the way I get treated) how some of you are to me.
I don't rag on Nikita, Liney, never ragged on Nautilus or any of the people who'd been around for a while and did more than just post flirty sex stuff. I've been here a long time, and this goes back to all the crap Jim used to give me too. If I said anything that wasn't geeky, he attacked the hell out of me. So, what if that applied to everyone? What if every time any female here, regardless of how long she's been around, posts something about her boobs.....she gets flamed. What if any guy, no matter how long he's been here hits on some chick ....... he gets flamed.
None of you guys would like it at all if that's the way things were. That's my point - and the reason I started deciding to get on people about it. That ever since I was here, the rules were different for me. If a guy said something nice to me, Jim et al. flamed me because I attracted attention. If I said something nice about myself, Jim et al. flamed me for being a slut or having too big an ego. And it never stopped. To the point that these days I can't crack jokes about being 'dead sexy' without some unregistered showing up and calling me a whore - or without someone 'laughing out loud' at the thought that kuru might be sexy.
Everyone else who's been around a while carries on in that manner and nobody bats an eyelash... I do it, I get flamed. Someone else criticizes a chick who lets editor take naked pictures, nobody bats an eyelash. I do it, Carnivore calls me a fat slob whose life revolves around pigging out. Because I hung out, because I was myself, because I joked around, because I flirted, because I had intelligent things to say, I couldn't avoid being flamed to hell and back for whatever freakin standards some posters are holding me to on any given day. Y'all ragged on me until I got sick of it and started flaming the hell out of you guys RIGHT BACK so you could see how damn fun it is to have every move you make be criticized. I don't think Wiley is here just to get chicks. I don't think DA99 is here just to have guys call her sexy. And I'm not here to have people rag on me for shit they also do.

I really don't follow the logic here, kuru. The people that blasted you are hardly going to be shown the error of their ways in this manner; it merely serves to aggravate those of us who support you (except when you're engaging in petty bitchiness because of a few flamers).
I always figured "Jim et al" went after your sexuality because it was an easier target than your well-supported politics, or maybe their mincy little faggot balls are intimidated by strong women. Thus they are fucktards on their own merits, and should be dealt with as such, not with misdirected vindictiveness.

Kuru, I think that you do have a double standard.
Anything you do is fine, anybody else does the same it's the worst thing ever. If there are guys who attack you for your sexuality, so let them be. Learn to ignore them or tell them off. But starting to insult people for being who they are doesn't show either manners or intelect. As you may have noticed, detnet changed a lot since you left. Lost of new people, very few old detnetters left, new owner, new views on things. So just because the forum is taking on a new directions, doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Even if editor wants to turn this board into a port site, which I think he doesn't, he has a right to. He payed money and therefore he owns this site.
What you need to do is stop bitching. At least back in the day you resorted to constructive criticism as opposed to meaningless bitching about nothing for no reason.

She's rumored to be attractive.
She's real smart and educated!
Her presence at detnet makes things more interesting and lively!
I enjoyed flirting with her last night.
Anytime Kuru shows up, people start posting, and I like that too.
Granted I don't always like what she says, or all of her opinions, but I think I can live with that.
I've also had tons o fun talking with Anon, and I hope he can find the time to post anything else that's not Kuru-related.

4) I respect all manners of intelligent chicks and I don't give them grief when they express sexuality. I give grief to chicks who express nothing but sexuality. This is not a double standard.
5) Apparently 'Jim et al' did not consider my intelligence to be worth much, if 'Anon' has been around as long as it claims to be. The recent 'kuru cannot possibly be sexy' has been a continuation of the same tired crap. New board, eh? Not for me.
6) The fucktards: When I criticize or flame a fucktard, some of the regulars jump on me and call me petty, jealous, bitchy, etc. Sick of that, too. You want me to direct my hostility at the fucktards, not at you guys - so when I do, you can all jump in and call me a bitch to look like heros. Thanks.
7) 'Anon' has shown a complete lack of balls to not be able to cop to the identity it supposedly used when it used to peruse the boards in my early days, therefore any criticism from 'Anon' is completely invalid, without merit, and will be summarily dismissed.
