While we're on the subject of footwear, can someone explain high-heeled shoes to me?The idea behind footwear is comfort, to protect your feet from the stones and miscellaneous sharp things, Is there any extra utility in putting a tall heel on a womans shoe? No.. It also adds considerable difficulty to balancing.. make a woman in stilettos run to catch a bus and you'll see ho ludicris these things are..
Long-term wearing high-heeled shoes is likely to damage your spinal alignment, and I'm sure I'm not the only person that winces at the sight of pictures like these
I think the point in them is to tense the womans calf muscle to make the leg look more shapely, but I can't remember the last time I stood gawping at the beauty of someone's lower leg (then again, I'm a breast man ) surely that isn't worth the discomfort and harmful effect of the skeleton.
