The page looks really good in IE and works very good.
But (theres always a but ) it really sUCKZ in nEtsCApe well not that much.. but lots of stuff looks very odd.
you should really consider make it look good in ns too

No he shouldn't! you should get Mozillas Milestone builds. Write for Mozzila and IE not Netscape 4.*. If it looks weird in Netscape 4.* then thats the person who is using netscape 4.*'s problem. They should upgrade.

You know, I used to think of webmasters who didn't code for both IE and Netscape as lazy and incompetent. But after the experience of designing my own site, I say "fuck 'em."

Netscape will mangle just about any code, even that produced with it's own HTML editor. And since only 20\% of the people visiting my site use Netscape, there's not much reason for me to try to fix things.
Perhaps I will change my mind if the new releases of Netscape are any good, but not until then.

Oh, and Anztac, your sig is four times as long as your post. I doubt anyone could care less about a paragraph-long Douglas Adams quote (I certantly don't), and I don't want to have to scroll through useless stuff like that.

Same goes to zarck, there's no reason to make a one line quote take up four lines by using UBB code. Stick with parentheses, instead.

Yeah, took me hours of additional effort to mangle perfectly good code enough so that it would appear properly in Netscape as well as IE. I had to eventually resort to backgrounds to achieve the effects I wanted to, and even still, Netscape had problems with it. Also, every Java applet I have ever had works with IE, but about 15-20\% of them fail in Netscape. Netscape doesn't properly support the PNG format which is much better than GIF for high quality lossless compression of images, and has numerous other problems which I won't go into here. Suffice it to say that Netscape 4 sucks, which is why I don't use it if I don't have to.

When I started making pages I would visualize them in my head, then think up the code, wrtie it in, and imeadiatly it looked exactly how I wanted it in IE. Then I'd look at in Nutskrape Instagater and say WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!!! THAT TABLE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE VERTICLE NOT HORIZONTAL!!! WHAT'S THAT LINE THERE? WHY IS THERE A GAP THERE? WHY IS HALF THE PAGE BLANK!! WTF! I would look at my perfectly indented code and start trying things, and trying more random things. Then I would finnaly figure it out, like all the table code (all of it) had to be contained on one line no spaces!!! or I had to set the background on a table to something stupid. or just redisgn the entire code base completly in to a tangled mess that worked, but I could never figure out again. so FUCK THEM IS RIGHT. god I wasted SO much time coding for netscape.
