Netscape blows. Hard. I work for an ISP, and it always pisses me off when I get users who refuse to use IE because they don't want to support MS and such, yet they are running Windows. I feel like screaming at them to run linux, but alas I would probably get fired.

The only people I feel bad for are the ones on linux, Solaris, and other such OSes that don't have much of a choice, and have to look a shitty formatted page.

Nutscrape 6 has some nifty features and all, but the improvements just don't make it. Pathetic that they jump from 4.x to 6, and it barely has any improvements. The thing I hate the most about Nutscrape is all the other stuff it installs, even with a minimal install.

What did you think of netscape then?

I use Netscape for almost everything because i find it faster. I use IE for only one site, this one, because i dont want to miss anything here.

IMHO: when Netscape gets its act together and is allowed by AOL(am i the only one that finds this funny? AOL buys netscape and netscape goes down the tubes?)to put out its products on time and with the proper testing and stops listening to M$ then it will be a worthy product again. Im tired of hearing the same people bitch about a product they swore by not 2 years ago and prase a product that they swore they would never use.

Nothing worse than a bandwagon jumper.

Im done now. Flame me at will.

Well, back then I had IE3, since I was using AOL (sue me). Once I got external web browsers working with AOL, I liked Netscape because it loaded pages smoother and faster, even though it took 2x as long to load the actual program (but I had a 486, so I needed Netscape's speed). Now that I have a nice computer I don't need the one and only reason I used Netscape.
