Fuck! Great. This is perfect.

80s retro is coming into style. This means? The same type of people who would've/did call me a dork in '97 for liking Transformers and Ghostbusters (while they were wearing 70s retro, of course) are now "fondly recalling" all that time they supposedly spent watching it. Ravers who NEVER FUCKING OWNED AN ATARI SYSTEM, and NEVER LIKED MARIO are now wearing their hip, trendy Atari shirts to their hip, trendy raves, where they listen to the hip, trendy Mario ravers remix (LOL!!!, like, rilly.)

Thought I was a geek a couple years ago for liking something, but now that it's trendy, they like it? I AM SHOOTINGS YUO NOW SO PLESSSE DIE!!!!

Sorry. Sometimes I've just gotta vent. (Sometimes meaning, of course, most of the time.)

I'll tell you what, if you were an 80's child (i.e. you were born in mid-to-late 70's) then go to your photo albums (go to perants if you don't live there anymore, if they don't have photo's maybe you should count yourself lucky that you do not suffer that is coming next)

Look at said old photo's from the 80's, notice the clothing and hairstyle...sure the TV shows were glorious..transformers, both voltrons, family ties... but look at what you wore!!! omg!

Now you know why I vow to kill any who bring back the 80's at least the 70's was sorta at the tail-end of the hippy movement. But there is nothing on this Earth that can excuse us from the fashion atrocities of the 80's.

regards, reman

im thinking if it was not for the early to mid 80's music most of you would not be walking the planet. Chances are if you are 18 and under you where concived to the music of the 80's.

Come to think of it, this would explain a lot about kids today...

oh dear god im old!

I grew up in the 80's and it was shit. PS: Sithiee, Metal was biggest in the eighties.

See also: NWOBHM, Exodus, Slayer, Metallica, Maiden, Saxon, Voivod, Priest, Megadeth, And glam shit like Jovi, Cinderella, Poison, Crue, ad nauseum. (And i DO mean nauseum! )

GACK, all that crappy hair, makeup, and bandanas tied around knees. Just watch (once-was-)'hip' movies like Breakdance, Weird Science and you'll remember why we lie about our age.
Remember, the American eighties are different to the rest of the world too. We didn't have the obsession with rock groups like chicago, boston, supertramp, queensryche, etc. The rest of the world had all the New Wave - post punk - synth crap as our staple diet.

Haha, now that I think of it, can you say '80s american cars' without pissing yourself laffing?

no, you misunderstand, 80s metal was of much higher quality than the shit they play today. 80s metal sounded good and wasnt a bunch of middle class kids who barely learned 3 chords on the guitar whining about how life sucks and theres nothing you can do about it.
