Civ 1 & 2 are the dogs, and its hard to improve on them which is why 3 may have gone downhill i guess.

with games like FPS's, they have storylines. This game doesnt really.. Its just build, conquer and stuff.

Then you people haven't played it enough. There are many improvements, just none of them big, earth changing ones. All the changes bring the gameplay to a more realistic level. Try reading the manual about what has been changed.

I've only played Civ 1(my first computer addiction) and Alpha Centari, so the game is very good to me. Plus you can't beat my price(Ũ )

Interesting how a lot of people are complaining that civ3 isn't too different from civ2 a lot more than any two other similar sequels..

Most fps games arn't very much different to each other in gameplay, and there's no huge degree of bitching about that.. why about this?
