anyone ever watch "strictly ballroom"? it's an australian (i hope, i'm shitty with non midwestern accents) b-grade flick that is utterly pointless, yet strangely amusing. i watched with a hundred and twenty supposedly smart kids and they were all laughing their asses off, too.

omigosh! strictly ballroom! forgot about that. ive seen that one... yeah, australian film... but yeah, it was an amusing little film :) which reminds me of The Commitments (irish)... seeing as we taped the commitments right before strictly ballroom and for those of us who are too lazy to fast forward, have to go thru The Commitments to get to it :) but I don't mind since its a good one as well. (hmmm did i get the title right? the commitments? *ponder*)

How can you narrow this subject down to just five? That's crazy, I know that I love Cool Hand Luke, Anything by The Coen (sp) brothers, Shine, Run Lola Run was way good, one of the best original's I've ever seen. I love when a movie goes down to technical detail, and it works all the kinks out, such as Coen movies, they always have tiny little facts resurface to make you laugh, or affect the plot. R.L.R. had a way cool plot line, and is very well made/edited.------------------ Like a flash I'm out- -Proteun
