I use ACID 2.0 for a few of my loops.
I use ReadPlease for the computer generated voices.
I use HammerHead for all the percusion.
I use SimSynth 2.0 for most of the music.
I use Analog X's Scratch for turntables.
I use a few other things like Voicecoder, Sayit, Windchimes, and Soundplant.
I use CoolEdit 2000 for mixing and producing.

shit man, that would get complex!

these days i use modplug tracker for tracking (very easy blain, check it out) and cool edit for all wave editing, including guitar/bass recording. and i used to use cakewalk for my midi based songs

oh yeah, i use stomper (heh heh) to create some bass beats and stuff. its a visual basic prog but is very good at what it does

oh yeah blain, if u want to get stated in tracking, a great place is with the UT music, just open the .umx files in modplug tracker and volia, you can edit the unreal tourney music

they are great for seeing how it is all done, plus good for ripping some good samples

bear in mind though they are VERY complex songs, and i cant keep up with most of the effects and mixing they do in them... they are insane songwriters, and dont get too disheartened if u cant make head or tail of some of the tracks

anyway, give it a go. its fun to mess around with music that you know

thanks guys, i just downloaded modplug. it's a lot like screamtracker so i recognize a little bit of it, nevertheless, it's going to take a lot of free time to make anything tolerable to the human ear

ah, cakewalk's wack.

go for acid, and fruity loops (fruity loops is the shit..now it side-scrolls like acid, imports wav samples, plus it has a built-in 808, all the filters you can stand, and a tool to make your own intruments.)

Yeah! A new release! Snowball Fight is 'ok'. I don't particualarly like the style, but mabey somebody else will listen to it and proclaim it genious! I guess I got a little carried away in letting the music lead me, instead of leading the music. This song also features the most complex percussion arrangement yet! 2 hi-hats, 2 crash, 2 splash, 6 bass drums, 6 snare drums, and 4 other little things. Conseqently I learned that sometimes less is more.

My first release in 5 months and 2 weeks!!! Mostly because I've been working on 5 songs at once (2 of them merged into this song, and 2 merged into on of the FBaxe songs). This one will definately be released on LUDE CONDUCTor once I have it album mixed...

Also wanted to let everybody know that I'm ALMOST done with those fatbitch songs... I've just go to record the lyrics and add some finishing touches.

ANYWAZE... IMO, this is my BEST track yet!! So let me know what you think! www.personguy.com/poornotation/files/Pliaedes.mp3
