Well, I personally think Q3 sucks. It's too similar to Q and Q2. Sure, the graphics are great... but still. I played UT for a while and thought it kicked arse... until Counter-strike came out. For those of you out there that aren't aware... Counter-strike is a mod for Half-Life. A DAMN good mod.

I can't stand _any_ lag in fps games, and CS is not all the great with the netcode.

(supposedly they're getting some new netcode that kicks ass, but that remains to be seen)

Yes, I have Dialup too (curses his 56k). Put I learn to put up with the lag. It's not really that hard, I still play pretty well against those cablers.

I'm surprised, I was able to download both files at the 400-500KB/s range, usually popular files get slowed way down.
