The best place for me to meet women was the self defence class I was teaching.

i agree. physics type courses suck at getting decent women.
martial arts arent really that good to be honest. cos if the girls cant hack it they leave and if they can it means they are usually a bit psycho.

depends on the type of woman you want to meet where you should go.
I agree going dancing is one of the best, though I lean towards swing dancing rather than Latin - again it depends on the type of woman you want to meet.
Libraries and bookshops are good but you have to realize complete strangers generally don't start conversations in these places unless one of them works there.
Clubs and bars are ok, but you have to remember the type who will let themselves be "picked up" in those locations.

But I was running the course. I could tell who was what, mentally. I've only ever had 2 people quit and one quit because I told her to leave. Other than that, I have had some good times with a few of my students, long after the course had finished though.

yes but you always get people turning up who expect to become a killing machine in two hours and when they get knocked down to earth they usually pussy out. but hey you've probably had more luck than me.
