he was a runner, and the thing i loved most about him was that he blew my mind. totally shattered my perception of who i was. lasted six months, we broke up the day he moved to south america to do an archaeological dig, i still miss him but i can't say i'd still wanna be with him... and i haven't spoken to him in four years.

I was in a realy fucked up place in life that im FINALY gettin through and i fucked things up. I just did not want to drag her through the shit i was going through.

Funny thing about that... She would of stuck with me no matter what and i would of gotten through all that shit a lot better.

I will regret fucking that up the rest of my life. Still, just knowing that she walks the same earth as me is a bit of a comfort. Sometimes i still talk to her like she can hear me. That alone got me through some of the worst places in my life.

My favorite was my last. Matter of fact, I posted a thread about her. Something like l33t chick, or whatever, here in the classroom.

Anyway, she ruled. But she was a pretty busy person, and that started to bother me.

One day she was supposed to call, and she got to busy and didn't. Then she sent me an email instead. I deleted it and never spoke to her again. Well, once or twice... She ended up finally calling me 2 weeks later wondering why I was pissed. And I told her I was still waiting for her to call, like she said she would....

I know, I'm a stubborn bastard....

But oh well, I'm over her and moved on!

I've been in the situation of having to apologize to someone I was in love with via email, and getting no reply, and in terms of ways to get rid of people, I would say that you've found a very efficient method.

First, she left on a 5 day trip to the florida keys with her 'friend' who is literally a millionare and a guy. I totally didn't let that get to me.

Until she called to say she was staying another week.

Then she called at the end of that week to say she was going to her parents house in AK, we live in TX.

So there goes another week.

She gets back, is busy for another week before we are finally going to see each other again.

She was supposed to call at 8pm, I called her at 10pm to find out what was up. She said she was too tired and she'd call me tomorrow.

The next day, no phone call, just an email saying what's up. I just ignored the email waiting for her to call.

It was 2 weeks later before she emailed me asking me if I was having fun ignoring her.

I told her that I was still waiting for her to call, but after this long I'm just assuming that she dumped me and I'm moving on.

And move on I did!!

That's just the way it goes. I guess the term are 'There are plenty of fish in the sea'

I don't want to settle for less than exactly what I want. I may never find it, but I'm not lonely, I have fun, I have a great life, and I wouldn't trade it for anyone elses on this earth. How many people do you know can say that? Not many.

OK, I probably should have read the other forum you mentioned before assuming that you hadn't been justified in giving up on her. I would still say that in terms of deciding how far to trust and forgive someone, it's better to err on the side of being more forgiving, but it sounds like it wouldn't have worked out for you anyways.

Before Amy, the girl I just talked about, was Tina. She walked all over my ass. This included all night drinking escapeds ending in her coming home with guys signatures all over her body, including below the panty line.

It'd take me 6 pages to detail this 2 year relationship. But basically if I was willing to accept her apology, then she knew she had me cornered. I took care of her and her 2 kids, and she fucked me.

When we finally put an end to the relationship, she snuck into to my house while I was out on business one weekend, and completely robbed my house. Took everything except for my computer and my home theatre stuff. I think she knew I'd hunt her down if she messed with my electronics.

But she swiped all the furniture, curtains, dishes, everything. I had even bought this woman a brand new car, and she left it in the driveway. I'm still stuck paying on that car.

The new Jim doesn't put up with very much.
