so far the guys i've dated white guys, jewish guys, and native american guys.... i just go out with who i'm attracted to and interested in. i've never met a black or latino guy who has gotten the heart rate up, but i'm not so closed minded that i think it's out of the range of possibility.

I personally don't have a problem with interracial dating, but I've seen some of the really shitty after-effects in terms of how people who are biracial are treated. My cousin's son is 16, half black and half white, and has a very hard time socially at school. The white kids don't want to hang out w/ him b/c he's half black and looks primarily black, but the black kids can tell he's half white, so they don't want anything to do with him either. So until we reach a point in society where people can handle others of biracial heritage, I'm not sure if I could truly condone an interracial marriage, esp. if I knew the couple was planning on having kids.

I personally have never dated a black man. But it's not so much b/c of that, but just b/c (as someone said before) I've never found one that I had a lot in common with and was attracted to. And since I do have a boyfriend and I'm not looking for someone new, that's not going to change anytime soon.

jim, i do, and i know a lot of people who do. for me its mostly because i can usually tell the difference between a jew and a white person, so it seems different to me. just like how a lot of times you might find spanish(south american, not whites from spain)look a little like some asian (for the longest time i thought my neighbors were spanish, untill i met their parents.) i dunno, to me i just feel a lot of the time that im really different from a lot of the white people i know...

It should only really matter who turns you on. One of my friends (who happens to be 1337, as a matter of fact) always teases me that I only like black women. That was only because I told him some black women are pretty. (Look at Tyra Banks, for example). It's odd because he's always about the asian women.
In any event, I say go with what feels good. Black, white, red, brown. Skin is skin, but it's only skin.
