Why did Ren & Stimpy go off the air (while Rugrats is still going and has had 2 movies)? It was easly one of the most brilliant cartoons of our generation!

and how does anybody like it its shit. u just want the babies to die or get horribley mangled in a tree pulper. they do all this stupid stuff that isnt funny its annoying and just plain boring. if you want to do slapstick type stuff then why dont they show more warner bros cartoons instead of crappy nickelodeon ones cos in WB you never get tired of a 346.34 ton boulder smacking taz into the ground again and again and again! they just keep thinking up ways of doing it differently hell i'm just laughing thinking about it

Ren and Stimpy went off the air because it started to suck supreme. My parents and brother and I would wake up Sunday morning to watch TV, including Ren and Stimpy. It came to the point that the show was horrible, and relied on crude drawings of bodily fluids, pimples and body hair/nose hair for humor. It was funny for a while, and then it suddenly sucked.

Around then, we stopped waking up to watch TV as a family. Thanks, Ren and Stimpy. You ruined my family.

Also speaking of Mtv cartoons what happened to Ænion Flux {sic} about that chick secret agent who was like trinity from the matrix, in her ability to kick ass, she always wore like a bikini type outfit and had a gun on each leg holster. Anyways i was never really into them back then, but if they came back i totally would watch 'em.

fluex wasn't MTV, they just aired it. I heard you can still catch it on some satelitte stations, and I've seen the tapes in a few video games stores and crap. cool show, too

Oh, and for those who aren't aware... prior to "Kenny", Enion Flux died in every episode.

Animanicas STILL kicks ass! And Freakazoid kicks ass too!

And if you haven't read the Ren & Stimpy comic books, you've failed to realize the TRUE TRUE brilliance the creator had! One of them was a "Time Travel" comic, and it was kind of like a choose your own adventure, and you could read it like 5 different ways and it would go through the same pages, but be a TOTALLY different story! And you can't forget yak shaving, Mr. Horse, Powdered toast man, and LOG!

Oddities? They had two different animated series' named Oddities... One about an alien living in a dude's giant head, I think the other is what you're mentioning. That one was totally surreal; wish I could see it again.

I never really liked R&S. I thought it was funny for a little bit, but I stopped watching it because it was excessively immature. Kinna like South Park dumbed down for 5 year olds, but a lot worse.

Now, you can't much about Animaniacs. That show was the shit. I like a lot of the newer WB cartoons because they throw some humor in there that kids don't get get but adults and more mature people do. Plus Batman Beyond just kicks ass
