Today at school we discussed movies. I said I wasn't sure whether I wanted to watch "legally blonde", because it is another one of the movies where the stupid bimbo gets the guy in the end...

Everyone started telling me that that's what life is like, too (as if I didn't know that already). My one male friend said "well, guys' minds just work like that"... I said "oh, beg pardon! You mean, intelligence and sex are mutually exclusive for a woman? Did I miss out on something in life or what?" All I got was pitiful glances and everyone, loudest of all the girls, agreed that "yes, guys just want looks".

Now, this got me a little depressed. I mean, what do you want? I've heard enough guys whining that their sexy bimbo girlfriends left them after a short time, only to let them discover what bitches they were. But then, they go for the same thing? Either guys are wrong in general, or the people I go to school with are wrong, or I am wrong. I'd just like to know which...

Tell me what guys really want. And tell me what is wrong with me that guys don't want me. I've heard advice ranging from "be more casual" over "lose 20 lbs" to "be a total mystery". All I want is honest answers I can work with.

What a guy really wants? I know personally, I like a girl that can laugh at my lameass jokes, laugh at herself, and most importantly, not be uberanal about looks. Oh, and don't lead a guy on. That just isn't fun.

Not that having a sexy bimbo girlfriend wouldn't be fun. For about two weeks. Don't worry about it, someone will show up soon enough.

Most guys have two modes:
1) I wanna get laid
2) I wanna relationship

If they're in Mode 1, then they're gonna go for the looks and not care if she's a total b1tch 'cause they're not after a relationship. Most guys (but not all), especially 16-25, are in this mode.

If they're in Mode 2, then they're gonna be looking for someone with a brain (looks is a close second) and, hopefully, a sense of humor.

Jynx is right about guys and their two modes. Some of us are stuck in one mode all the time tho. I'm one of the ones stuck in relationship mode, and alot of guys are stuck in sex-crazed mode, especially in my age range. If you find the right guy... one in relationship mode, you'll be happy. Trust me.
