My favorite games don't necessarily agree with everyone elses opinions of the games. That's why it's my own opinion Anyways, here it comes, in no particular order:
1. Shadowrun; granted the SNES and genesis versions weren't the best gamers in the world, it's the Shadowrun premise that holds a place in my heart. 2. MGS2, of course. 3. Syndicate Wars, for those who remember 4. Legacy Of Kain: Blood Omen; the Grand-daddy of 'em all. 5. Quake. The beginning of the modern de-evolution of man into the primal, rage-fueled machine that he is.
Well, there are more upon my list that deserve recognition (FF7 for one) but these are the ones that I pulled off the top of my head. Enjoy

i gotta give ya'll mad props, not once did any of you mention Everquest! i'm sorry but i harbor a dislike for that game...i swear to god that game came before i did with my ex-b/f.

1- Lunar: Silver Star Story 2- FF3 (someone mentioned ff7 being a tearjerker.... not for me it wasn't, but i cried playing ff3 when Celes jumped off the cliff.) 3- FF Tactics. I am SOOOO fucking pissed they never made a sequell to this!!!!! GOD DAMN YOU SQUARE!!!! DAAAAAMN YOOOOOOU!!!!!!!!!
