YOU WANT A BLOWER. Welcome to the forced induction club. Might I recommend a Weiand 6-71 found here. They work great if your going to use carbs. They suck air through the carbs (which works better than blow through carbs), make alot of noise and are generally obnoxious. Sounds good huh? Now if you want to use EFI and get twice as much power as from the roots blower use one of these puppies. They are just as loud and make much more power, especially if intercooled and you can't beat the throttle response. The only down side is they dont give you the big honking bug catcher scoop hanging out of the hood, which most people like for your application.
The carb route is much cheaper and easier to tune but you cant beat the "rip your eyes out through your asshole" power the efi + centrifugals make.
Oh and you knew I was kidding about the gas mileage right?

You sure could, but then theres no room for people in the car. Better get used to driving from the roof.
And in case anyone was interested.
WEIGHTS & MEASURES - 600 CID - 522 LBS. - 4.125” BORE - 3.750” STROKE - 23.5” WIDE; 23” HIGH; 36.5” LONG (WIDTH FROM CRANKSHAFT CENER LINE) (LENGTH TO FRONT ACCESSORY DRIVE PULLEY) - ALUMINUM BLOCK & HEADS
PERFORMANCE Running Race Gas: - 1100 HP AT 6500-7000 RPM NORMALLY ASPIRATED - 1200-1600 HP SUPERCHARGED OR TURBOCHARGED
PACKAGE Each engine is dyno tested upon completion and base price includes the following: - ECU - DRY SUMP - INDEPENDENT RUNNER MANIFOLD - DIRECT FIRE IGNITION
The race gas they speak of is probably oxygenated 110 octane Royal Blue. It runs about $6 a gallon. Now for half of that you can run some Nutec and make probably 99% of the same power.

ok, real work was done to the car today!
Removed the bumper and the damaged fender. Found new bumper and fender and a shop manual for the beast.
Will get some pics up by the end of the weekend.
Dont listen to 1337. you can put any motor in any car with a steel warehouse, a torch and a mig machine.
