Definitely choose the Geforce over the ATI card; ATI seems unable to produce stable drivers...
Beware that the "Geforce 4 MX" is really a speed-bumped GF3; if you are serious about the GF4 then avoid any of the "MX" series products.

heh, ATI never has been able to release good drivers in a timely fashion. and yeah, eo is quite correct, the geforce 4 mx is directx 7 product, not a directx 8 product like the rest of the gf4's. so while it won't be giving you all the ultra cool goodies, it will still be giving you a lot more than the gf2 mx. it depends on what you want to use the card for and how long you want to use the card for. Still, one of the boxes I use quite regularly works well enough with it's cheap old TNT2.
