Samsung produces Apples ACD, Motorola/IBM produce Apple's CPU's, godknowswho produces Apples RAM, IBM produces their AirPort (I think), etc, etc. So why is this a shock?

pft, they never did. if only they'd open their architecture, they'd actually have some decent sales. i wouldn't mind dual booting with macos, or even building a mac computer to run windows, especially with the geforce3. i thought motorola made the g4 chip and all their other ones, however.

No, it's always run o Motorola processors. Sorry to say. I mean since Mac was just an O/S from a semi-poor guy, he couldn't build his own fab plant right from the beggining. So he used Motorola cpu's. Makes sense really.
