/me finally got around to configuring the Squid transparent web cache.

if you're running Linux MASQ/NAT, you want this.  Squid's caching works *much* better than IE or Nutscrape, and it's LAN-wide.

detnet's home page now loads in the blink of an eye :D

works great as a standalone proxy cache too... no NAT/MASQ required.
