Kinda worrying that you find head crabs sexy.
I think Kuru is sexy for the simple reason that she is a female geek, I like that. Plus she's into guns and you don't tell somebody who has a bigger gun collection thatn you she isn't sexy... It's suicide.
And since it is suicide it would make her... Dead sexy. Wah I've found the link!!!

Kuru
I wonder if Kuru actually comes here for any reason other than to spout off about what a sex goddess she is.

Being outnumbered by male geeks at least 100-1 does kinda mean the subject turns to b00bies rather often..

you ass. i cannot believe you are actually attacking the kuru. it is sacrilege to even speak that name without honorable intent, much less outright defamation. the kuru need not justify herself to the likes of you. being a senior member of detnet alone places her above such talk. i would ernestly suggest that you choose your words very carefully lest you be struck by lightning (or perhaps something of round metal of a large caliber...)

I guess Anon (who doesn't have the balls to face me with an actual, registered name or even click on my frigging profile and send me a direct message) only reads the sex forum.
Well, Mr. or Ms. Hidden, you're damn right I do things here other than discuss my looks.
Aside from my witty repartée in The Classroom, my often scathing rants about the stupid and internet security issues in Rants, my random insight and questions in The Geek Forum, and the technical advice and help I've provided for the site, I actually post some amazingly cerebral stuff in Sex, too.
Let's see... we've had discussions about: politics, guns, education, war, computers, universities, movies, birth control, abortion, STDs, relationships, fears, facts about the female body in general, cars, the technical aspects of this website, and hundreds of other topics.
You, whoever you are, have seized upon the instances in which I, kuru, let my hair down and have a little fun. You decided to make sure you were in a very safe place (after all, you won't even show your true self!) and then take pot shots at me because of a few of the 1000+ posts I've made to detnet in the last 1 year 7 months?
Do you think I ought to cry over what you posted? Oh, you do think so. That's so cute. What was your name again?
I yahoo! as: kernproc I AIM (thanks to Trillian) as: catf1ve I ICQ as: 5139151 I can be reached by email at: shrew@mirthless.org
Got something to say to me?
peregrin: I wouldn't waste ammo on something so pathetic that it has to attack only if it can hide.

Actually, I remember all those conversations you've had. Yes, you did post some very interesting stuff. But it seems like ever since you left, then returned, you post very little in *this part of the forum* that is, as you say, "cerebral"
Actually, I had no intent of affecting you at all. Lord knows, you're not going to cry over what I post. In fact, you'd be damn pathetic if you did.
Simply posting a comment. Sort of... well actually, I'm not. This forum is so damn xenophobic anyway. Heh. My point, however, was that you have been posting far more... provocative... if not outright teasing stuff. With a high degree of regularity since your return to this board.
Oh, and how is "Anon" any less a valid nickname than "kuru" ? I serously doubt that "Kuru" is your real name. So why is Anon any less of a nickname? I mean, honestly. If you want to get personal, next time you're in Atlanta you can come meet me face to face. Ironic that someone who posts messages about how beautiful she is, then refuses to provide visual backup (Oh wait, you posted a picture of your eye. That really counts...) accuses someone else of not showing "Their real self"

Do you have the impression that I owe you posts that are up to your expectations of what kuru should post? I don't. I'm here for me, to have fun, to have good discussions. If you can't accept that, you can fuck off.
As for 'affecting' me, you had a reason for posting that little cartoon and 'insightful' commentary, or you wouldn't have posted it.... so, why'd you bother? Why's it so important to you?

Again, who made you the content checker of my posts? You were happy with me when I was a geek who rarely showed sexuality or sexual confidence, but now you're not happy with who I am. Too bad, bucko. You don't get to decide who I am.

You want it to be your nick? Register it. I registered the nick 'kuru', and I've kept it since I got here. I've always been the same person, I've always left open avenues for contacting me and speaking directly to me. You didn't. You've built up no history, and you can't, as long as you're unregistered.

If I ever have any reason to be in Atlanta, who should I notify? I can't very well send an email or an ICQ to 'Anon'.

If this is a feeble attempt to get a picture so I can prove to you that I'm good looking, it failed. I don't need your approval, I don't need your confirmation, and I sure as hell have nothing to prove to you.
Or maybe you want to prove that I'm not beautiful, or be able to point to a picture and call me a fat cow. Make you feel better about yourself?
You obviously want a picture pretty badly, but you're not getting one. You'll have to settle for what everyone else here gets: kuru as a geek, a chick, a person. Get used to it.

"Do you have the impression that I owe you posts that are up to your expectations of what kuru should post? I don't. I'm here for me, to have fun, to have good discussions. If you can't accept that, you can fuck off."
Where did I state that that was the case? I never did. Now you're making assumptions. Actually, you make a lot of those.
"As for 'affecting' me, you had a reason for posting that little cartoon and 'insightful' commentary, or you wouldn't have posted it.... so, why'd you bother? Why's it so important to you?"
First of all, you assume that it is important to me. It isn't. You're an amusement, actually. I've been wondering for a long time what you'd do if someone posted what I did, so I did, to find out.
"Again, who made you the content checker of my posts? You were happy with me when I was a geek who rarely showed sexuality or sexual confidence, but now you're not happy with who I am. Too bad, bucko. You don't get to decide who I am."
Here's assumption number three... You assume that I "was happy" when you were such and such. You also assume that now I am "not happy" with "what you are"... Interesting.
"You want it to be your nick? Register it. I registered the nick 'kuru', and I've kept it since I got here. I've always been the same person, I've always left open avenues for contacting me and speaking directly to me. You didn't. You've built up no history, and you can't, as long as you're unregistered."
Who cares if I'm registered or not? Ah, the joys of arguing with a Xenophobe. Alright, if you really, really, are just dying to contact me... 1977258.
"If I ever have any reason to be in Atlanta, who should I notify? I can't very well send an email or an ICQ to 'Anon'."
See above.
"If this is a feeble attempt to get a picture so I can prove to you that I'm good looking, it failed. I don't need your approval, I don't need your confirmation, and I sure as hell have nothing to prove to you."
Actually, I have no desire to see you. People are far more complicated than their pictures, don't you think?
"Or maybe you want to prove that I'm not beautiful, or be able to point to a picture and call me a fat cow. Make you feel better about yourself?"
Why would I want to prove that you are, or are not, beautiful? No really - think honestly about it. What would I have to gain? Nothing. Why would I want to humiliate someone that I have never met, and in all likelihood, will never meet? It'd be silly.
"You obviously want a picture pretty badly, but you're not getting one. You'll have to settle for what everyone else here gets: kuru as a geek, a chick, a person. Get used to it. "
Rather egostistical of you. You do that quite frequently... assume that people are after pictures of you. I wonder why you do such a thing? Maybe you're hungry for attention?

She gets too much of the wrong kind of attention at her job.
I'm not sure but I think she wants to joust
intellectually.
At first I thought you were baiting her, but now
not so sure.
Her posts got you to post, spineless sort-of lurker.
your syntax was good, but you can edit.
People skip over long diatribes... damn lurkers

"She gets too much of the wrong kind of attention at her job."
Hmm. Interesting. So it begs the question... is begging for "the right kind" (for if she gets the wrong kind, then if she is seeking attention, she must be seeking the right kind. And apparently the right kind is getting many guys to beg her for a picture, or whatnot.) therapy? So this is therapy.
"I'm not sure but I think she wants to joust"
Noble.
"intellectually."
Better than some ways.
"At first I thought you were baiting her, but now"
Who can say? (Well, me, obviously. But I already have.)
"not so sure."
There is no need for confusion.
"Her posts got you to post,"
True this. Which means that if she is looking for therapy, then I am participating in this therapy. Although perhaps not the "right kind" of therapy, for I'm not clamouring for her sexual attention. So maybe I'm not part of this therapy.
"spineless"
Really? Already I've provided my general location and my ICQ number, but I'm still spineless for using a collection of letters that isn't "meaningful", although I think "Anon" is quite meaningful. It's all in how you perceive things. I mean, really. Why is "Anon" any less meaningful than "Kuru" or "AskHeaves" or maybe "Sk8r" ? They're all pretty meaningless.
"sort-of"
I'll take this caveat as a compliment.
"lurker."
Definitionally, a lurker is one who reads but does not post. I read and post. Ergo, I am not a lurker.
Of course, this is taking a snapshot of time. So really, your definition worked yesterday, but not today. You really ought to be more careful with your lingo.
By the way, I like the new layout... Although you might consider not making News a seperate link. Slows down a browser.
