I have to disagree with you there... That's pretty cruel to deny your new husband sex without a good reason (barring 40th week pregnacy, strange catholic beliefs, different culture, etc). Even if it's taxtime, you have to at least compensate (although, some planning should have been made to avoid that amazing coincidence). I don't think that rape is in order, but gawd damn that is cruel.
BTW: can an annullment occur if the marriage wasn't consummated?

I'm surprised that anyone who was going to get married wouldn't at least discuss the topic of sex with their future spouse before they were married. I mean seriously, if this person isn't willing to hear your honest opinion on a topic like that, or you aren't willing to listen to their opinion, you probably don't trust each other enough for marriage to work.

I'm not saying that a man should force his wife to have sex on their wedding day if she's totally opposed to it. I'm just asking is it at all fair for a woman to have ANY kind of excuse for a no? What kind of reason would someone have for not having sex on their wedding day?
