anybody know where i can find an emulator of Cisco OS they use on routers?

They make a flash emulation eTrainer that goes with their study classes. It gives you a task and you complete it. You have to configure 5 routers... it gives you the layout and all.

Theres one called Routersim which is really cool but crashes on XP, then the other one that has been around longer is Boson Router Simulator.

I've had the same prob w/it crashing on my 2K box. I hear the boson one is pretty good, but I haven't tried it (b/c I have Cisco routers at my disposal to play w/whenever I want).

If your topology is the same as the one in the 5-router Cisco eSim..then you're good to go.
It doesn't let you change the topology..which is why I dumped it a while back. Also, it limits the commands you can do (like ACLs and such). This is in the student version, there is a pro verison, but I havn't used it much.
I ended up with Sybex simulator - still can't change the toplogy, but 99% of the commands work.
I'd prefer Boson over all others.
