Ok people, there are other problems in the world. Yes, this guy needs help. He is being punished for what he did.
I think the problem is with your touchie-feelie kids. if your kid is such a wuss that this bothers him, you better start a fund now for the therapy he will need later. If this is fucking him up so bad that he can be labeled as "traumatized" then you better just lock him in his room and never let him out again.
instead of crying about it teach your kids the lessons that are here.

As much as I fucking HATE cats. I hate people who hurt animals worse.I would have fucking stomped HIM to death, had I witnessed it.

same here.but i would not be "traumatized" over the event.
I hit a cat with a lawnmower at the age of 6. Dumb shit ran right into the mower deck and came right out again as a bloody mess. yeah, it was a shock but after a good verbal kick in the ass by the old man i finished mowing the lawn. I was not "traumatized" by the event. i got the "shit happens" speech from the old man and went back to work.
if that happend today i would be drugged and sent to a greif counciler for months.

wow, thats pretty fucked up.but hey, if you were an impressionable young child and you saw someone else thrash a little baby kitten, theres a high chance youd be pretty goddamn freaked out.

dude...if some guy stomped a kitten to death in front of me I'd be pretty freaked out, and I'm 24. I'd also be pissed...I'm with Jim on that one.
