hey there people, I've been using detnet for a while now - but only just got around to registering. ah well - got there in the end

Welcome and good first post! If you've been lurking a while then you probably know how things work: -get a few reasonable, intelligent posts in,
-then flame CK,
-then piss off one of the resident Titans (read: kuru, CK, Dys, Wiley, DL, BtC, etc...).
-Spend some time trying to figure out a few of ed's incomprehensible posts, realizing that some of them just-don't-make-sense
-sift through the garbage I put up to find the occasional intelligent statement
Basically, simple stuff, right?

Beldurin, I don't think it could have been said any better then that. I hearby appoint you the official mayor of Detnet. I would take it to a poll, but this isn't a democracy ...and I don't want any hanging chads messing up the results.
