Safest in what way? if your talking about spyware, look for Kaaza Lite. Standard Kaaza, no spyware.

I have never gotten anything suspect through eDonkey. But it requires more babysitting than Kazaa or others...

WinMX is good.  sometimes.  to many fags that will only trade for shit though....
and since you can watch mpegs as they're streaming in (like you can with Kazaa for example), you can get fucked on trades.

edonkey is one of the safest in my view because you almost always get what you are looking for and i never gotten anything with a virus from there. WinMX i never use because people there are bitches. they all want to leech yet nobody wants to share their files. kazaa is one big virus in itself. almost every .exe file of program you download will be infected, long movies are all shit and half the time aren't what the name says. only thing kazaa is good for is mp3s and perhaps pr0n. there used to be a few other good ones, like Hotline Connect but it takes too much effort to get files and people started to be dickheads just like those on WinMX. it's so sad that people on a 56k are always willing to share all they got even though they have no bandwidth and people with broadband are fucking stinges and don't share shit.
