ok im trying to upload IB to my new site(< plug plug >), and i am wondering what is a decent FTP client to use..any suggestions?

i use ws_ftp95. not that new WS_FTP Pro. i can try to give you a link to my site if you want me to upload it for you.

i'd choose ws_ftp.......does what it's supposed to do, and it's FREE

i've used ws_ftp before(::edit:: ws_ftp lite, that is) and it doesn't do the CHMOD settings correctly(which is necessary when installing Ikonboard)

good idea beldy, but i don't want to have to CHMOD every file by hand(there's about 30 of them)

i asked this on here a while ago and got recommended leech ftp. it's never given me any problems and is very configurable.

ws ftp does the chmod's right. sometimes it gets the wrong info off the server though (the file will be set to the right permissions but the server will return 644 instead of 755..i get that sometimes)

used CuteFTP for a while until it wouldnt connect to one of my servers even though the settings were exactly as it said it should be. LeechFTP didnt even need half of the settings to figure its way to the server and since then i havent touched cuteFTP
