I was wondering what the girls of detnet think about lesbians and bisexual women. Do you view them much the same way as you view gay men, or what? I realized that I knew men's feelings for non heterosexual people (both male and female), but I don't realy know how the average woman views them. Anyway, just a completely random thought. You may now return to ignoring me

Many of my friends are bisexual. My roommate of the last 2.5 years is bisexual. Many of my male friends are gay. I'm used to it as an everyday thing and don't view them any differently than I view other people. They're people, they're nice or mean depending on the individual.

Being straight, I have no actual interest in lesbians. I also don't find the female body more 'attractive' or 'beautiful' than the male body. Actually I feel the opposite. Men's bodies are more attractive and beautiful than women's.And my thing with gay men is the same as a lot of guys have for gay women. I like to watch 'em.

In my opinion, everybody's free to behave any way they like, as long as they don't look down on people who're different, or try to force their opinion on other people. I don't care whether somebody is attracted to men or women. That doesn't have anything to do with personality, or being a nice person, or whatever is important.All gay men I've met so far have been absolutely nice people, and if I hadn't been told they were attracted to men, I probably wouldn't have noticed. The only time I consciously encountered someone who was lesbian/bi was when I was crossing the road and a lady who went on a bike in the opposite direction blew me a kiss. I was slightly astonished because I didn't feel like I'd done anything to draw her attention to me - but it didn't offend me or anything.
I don't think I'd embark on a threesome of any kind...

i wouldnt think women would be concerned with gay people. just guys, mainly because of the superiority thing. guys in their teen years use the "youre gay" insult a lot, meaning that being gay isnt a good thing.but what if a woman said "youre gay" to another woman? since when is lesbianism a bad thing?
im not sure, but i dont think it would be getting the point across. kind of like a bad joke, really.you know what they say, (for a woman) the best thing to have next to you in bed is a gay man.

This should so be a non-issue. My very best friend is a lesbian and I don't think of her any different than I do my gay roommate. People are just people-- I think part of the problem here is that we want to look for differences where there aren't any to be had.

These guys are as gay as the 1890's. Right now my roommate has his boyfriend living with him and I promise you both are completely homosexual. But even if he wasnt I would still live here...you can live with someone who is of the opposite sex and hetrosexual and not be attracted to them...Well women can anyway.
