Well I am one of those deprived people who have never read the book, but I heard too many good things about it so I have decided to read it. I live in a god forsaken place and there are no decent bookstores and library has like 10 books, half of those are french. So I though some of you might have it in a text file or might now a site where I can get it. I really don't feel like ordering it from the internet, nor do I have a creditcard.Any ideas on how i can get the book would be appreciated. I have tried looking on edonkey and morpheus and a few others but none of them seem to have it. Posted by SLATE on Oct. 05 2001,18:46

I think I'll look around for it. But I have another question, is there only one book, or are there several books?

It's a "trilogy" of five books.Just buy the fucking thing. It's ฟ for ALL FIVE BOOKS. < Here for Amazon. > or < Here for Barnes and Noble. > Do they have a B&N near you? You could just pick it up there, I think. This message has been edited by miNus on October 06, 2001 at 02:27 PM Posted by ASCIIMan on Oct. 05 2001,19:25

You don't want to read it on a computer screen. It's the sort of thing you read as you're going to bed, or in the bathtub, or on a nice rainy day. I have about 40 pages left in mine.

Yeah, heaves is right, I didn't even think of it that way. It's just not the same reading it on a computer screen.Oh, and you forgot "while taking a shit", or more correctly, "while leaving a shit." And baths are for little gurlz This message has been edited by miNus on October 06, 2001 at 02:51 PM Posted by Rhydant on Oct. 05 2001,20:10
maybe he wanted to print it out?but thats a lot of ink. ------------------ Posted by kornalldaway on Oct. 05 2001,21:56
quote: I did want to print it out. My dad' company pays for ink and paper so that is no problem for me. And I did find one book on WinMX, but that was it. I wonder if I can find all 5. Posted by askheaves on Oct. 05 2001,23:17
Jesus Christ. Honestly, there's a well-bound book with all 5 books (plus a short story) for ฟ at Barnes and Noble. It's hardcover, has one of those built-in bookmarks, and looks surprisingly like the bible. If you can't sack up and buy that or get it as a birthday gift, send me a few bucks and I'll give you mine in 40 pages. You don't fuck around with great literature.

I didn't know there was more than 1 book to this. I read the first one (I think). The next books I'm gonna buy are the set for this, and A Brief History of Time.
