Ok, now that I got that over with, how many of you have beaten Metal Gear Solid 2? I just beat it a little while ago and I was quite disappointed with the ending.
There were several things that just made no sense. One example would be regarding Rose. At the end of the game, she was all going against Raiden and talking shit to him. Then he sees her on the street and its all like "I love you. " "I love you too. lets have a baby blah blah friggen blah" WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED! Last time I checked, she was a super mega bitch to him. Then they are all lovey dovey. Bleh.

d00d ..stick to Days of Our Lives for your drama fix. I'm sure the game ending made a lot of sense to the wacked programmers who made it, but unfortunatly they have never had real girlfriends and lack the ability to translate the dynamics of a relationship onto a war game. Either that or the story got translated from English to Japanese and back to English one too many times. I'm still wondering if Mario ever bagged the princess!

Wiley is correct in it being a freakin soap opera. I just finished it yesturday, what was your time? 11 here. From what i gathered Rose wasn't really talking shit it was the computer AI of arsenal gear,the GW doing most of the talking as her.Besides the horrible ending,ausome game otherwise.------------------
For future reference i suggest calling your 4 remaining brain cells together and having them consult with each other before posting any more B.S

I beat it last friday. The ending was pretty gay. The director of the game had too much shit to say. "We need to save the world for future children." I know we do but don't put that in my fucking game!

Kinda like that Steven Segal movie On Deadly Ground. Steven goes into a 15 min rant about how we are messing up the enviorment. Most of it was edited out in the theater, but it's on the DVD. Steven, how about not cheating on your wife before you start preaching to the rest of us.
Anyway ...I think moral messages are kinda lost when they are preceeded by glorified killing in movies/games.

At least this time it managed to confuse me, unlike the first MGS.What was that word.. paxos.. paxz.. agh.. the colonel AI said it somewhere there... I wish more games would include weird shit like this in them.

I've got it, it's loaded in the PS2, but I haven't had time this week to play. I've only gotten to the place the demo ended. I should go play now.

I just beat this game
I loved it, but the ending with Rose was strange...one minute shese siding with the simulated (ok what gives...was he really simulated inside GW or not?) Colonel Campell, and all of the sudden she wants to pass on history to the baby?But the game was good, the plot was terriffic, now i gotta start working on another game to beat.

Final Fantasy 10 comes out soon, I think on the 18th. Hopefully I'll get it when it comes out so I can beat it over Christmas break, if it's not too long.

Thats why i think the ending sucked. That dude WAS a simulation the whole time... But what the fuck was up with Rose!!!! Seriously, it made no sense.

Well obviously that was the simulation Rose, not the real one.Check while Rose and Campbell have that long 15 minute rant near the end, you'll see that at some points Rose's eyes have no pupils, indicating that it's not the real Rose.
