I remember watching SW in a fairly-filled theater.  There were the usual trailors and ads for the LA Times which are an unescapable fixture of LA theaters for 30 years.

Up came the Matrix one. No one said a word. Actually they didn't react at all!

I sat up.  I love the Matrix so much I've seen it all or part at least 15 times... I even bought this website that... well, you know.  The Matrix is what brought me to Detnet.

Kay.  In the original there would be one or two people defying physics flying all around.
Now we see like ten...

All wearing the same leather domme gear from last time.  It was sure hot then, and those sunglasses... That was then.

Now we have more of the same.

Imagine my consternation to see the car chase.  Yes, they built their own bla bla bla.

What I'm looking at is another damn thriller movie with gorgeous people in designer clothes shooting guns and fast cars and big booms and special F/X and computer stuff.

I honestly hope the trailor was bad.

I remember the first time I saw the Matrix and every few seconds I would lean a little more forward since I realized that what I was looking at was a finished product.  Something that told a great story but also looked great on the way.

Now I wonder if we're going to see a movie that looks good and tells a story here and there....

Matrix? Car chase?

I liked that car in the original with the suicide doors in the rain just fine, didn't have to chase it nowhere.

They are renting out the entire city of Sydney for two days in early July to film the most complicated scene ever filmed.  It involves helicopters.  Not looking good.  However, there were chases in the matrix, just on foot.
